Dimitri the Golfer

Dima spends a day at Nike world headquarters

Dimitri and Gretchen spent the good part of Saturday learning to golf at the Nike campus in Beaverton, Oregon. He had a good time, and he brought home a ribbon, certificate, minirature shoes, and a Nike Go t-shirt.

Those are some nice shoes man! Did you play 18 holes? That is cool that you got to go into the NIKE campus. I have driven by it and thought it would be fun to go in there. Anyway, what are you going to do with shoes that small? Maybe You could give them to Annabelle.

Oh I didn't play golf; I attended classes. Dimitri did putting on a permenant putting green at Nike, then did driving. The Nike campus was actullay very amazing and beautiful. Nike and Special Olympics did a wonderful job and took care of every little detail. They feed all of us for free plus the give aways and classes it was great.

Congratulations, Dimirtri. I want to learn to play golf. Maybe you and Victoria could give me some pointers. I'll need all the help I can get.
