Easter at the Mortensen House

OK, I am sorry for boring you with all these Easter photos. I've already wore you down with egg coloring. Now, here comes Easter Sunday...

Note that the sun was actually shining on Easter morning. Had a very difficult time getting a picture without at least one of these three squinting! :-)

Of course, when it was my turn, I decided to face a different direction so the sun would not be shining in our eyes.
Here is Victoria and Dimitri looking very grown up!

Some traditions live on, although in different forms. If it looks like Dimitri just caught an egg, it's because....

...instead of an egg hunt, Mom decided it would be easier to have an "egg toss." It was quite interesting to watch. She just sat there tossing eggs at Dimitri and Victoria.

The old tradtion is dead! Long live the new tradtion! Love that Egg Toss!

An Easter egg toss?! What is that about? Do I need to come back to help hide the eggs? Geesh!

Yes, things are getting bad. You need to get home, quick!

Actually it was kids idea to just hand them out because we were doing Easter baskets and eggs after church so they didn't want to wait for them to be hidden. The "tossing" was my idea so I could just sit.

Keep those pictures, new traditions and comments coming. This has really added to my late night enjoyment.

Is this the same house you were living in when I visited Portland a couple of years ago?

Thanks so much for the sweet comments! I'm glad you like my artwork. I'm currently working on a few pieces in school that are going to be even better than the ones in the photos. I'll get pics of them on my blog as soon as i finish them!

This is a house we moved into in 2006. It's not far from the old one. We used to live down the hill from the Levasa family. Now, we live up the hill from them.
